Private pilot license

Getting a private pilot license allows you to fly helicopters for fun and to share your passion with family and friends.

Courses are offered on Hughes 300 and Robinson 22 helicopters. Type ratings on other types of helicopters are also available (see Type Ratings)

Pre-requisites

• Minimum age : 17
• Category 3 Transport Canada medical certificate 

Duration of training: 3 months (approximate)

Groundschool : 75 hours (maximum)

Flight training : 45 hours (minimum)
